Ava R-1 Board of Education

Ava R-I Board of Education members are elected to three-year terms. At-large elections are held in April of each year. The Board members make efforts to identify community opinions and to be responsive to community concerns. With the exception of executive sessions that are legally conducted within the parameters of the "Missouri Open Meetings Act", all regular meetings, special meetings and workshops of the Board of Education shall be open to the public. Regular monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of each month.
