Ava High School is committed to providing students a rigorous, well-rounded education, one that prepares them for college, work, vocational training, and the 21st century. Because of our academic and career and technical classes as well as our athletic programs and extra curricular activities, our students are actively involved in an educational process that will help them on their many roads to success.

Our curriculum at Ava High School has great breadth and depth. In addition to traditional academic courses, Dual Credit and Advanced Placement courses are offered to those students wishing to earn college credit and who possess the aptitude, initiative, and drive to meet the challenges and opportunities these courses present.

Because Ava High School believes that technology is important for the future growth of our students, we provide classes that train our students to become proficient in technology.

Students graduating from Ava High School must successfully complete 28 credits in the following areas: English, Social Studies, Science, Math, Speech, Fine Arts, Practical Arts, Health, Physical Education, and Personal Finance.
